“The Night Shift” is a multimedia human interest story. With five podcast from five different women working different overnight jobs, listeners are invited to immerse themselves in the perspectives and experiences these subjects have to tell. With a live website and matching photo series, this long form journalism-media production explores the night shift environment to those unaware of its tales.
As a content producer for the project, I managed interviews, photoshoots, promotional videos, website design and oversaw podcast development. As a group project, this assignment strengthened my collaboration and interpersonal skills while giving me insight to the exciting field of new wave multimedia journalism.
